This directory contains source code, example test file, and documentation
for s2ibis Version 1.0.

The source code is in the subdirectory named src; the example test file,
tryme, is in the subdirectory named test; and the latest documentation is in the
subdirectory named man.

I do not have the facilities or enough familiarity with IBM PCs to properly
compile the code. The code is several thousand lines of C, and the program
requires a fair amount of memory. Therefore, someone who knows his or her
way around a PC should be enlisted to compile it. (I'm PC illiterate....)

Once you have compiled the program, you should test it out. Make sure your
executable is in your PATH, switch to the test subdirectory, and type:

                        s2ibis tryme tryme.ibs

Note, the tryme file assumes you have PSPICE available. If it works
properly, s2ibis should create about 150 files, one of which will be called
tryme.ibs, which has the IBIS model in it. You will need about half a Meg
of disk space for a successful run. tryme.ibs should be very similar to the
file tryme.output that I have provided. (I generated it using the unix version,
so it may be a little different.)

Good Luck! Let me know if I can help.
