This floppy contains electronic copy of two IBIS files:

ver1_0.ibs   - This is the Version 1.0 IBIS ASCII Specification,
               agreed upon by the IBIS Open Forum on 6/4/93.  The
               IBIS Open Forum consisted of the 10 companies listed
               in the file.  This file contains all the information,
               rules, and guidelines required to create an IBIS ASCII
               1.0 electronic i/o model file.  Files in this format
               will (eventually) be automatically readable by the 
               modeling platforms supporting IBIS.

n74f244n.ibs - To help clarify the proper usage of the IBIS ASCII
               format, this example file is offered.  It is a complete
               IBIS description of a 20-pin DIP 74F244 octal buffer.
