s2ibis is unsupported code. You can do what you like with it. s2ibis was
basically done by a few students and myself on their own time I find your
comments offensive. Yes there are some inconsistencies in the ibis spec
but these are required for efficient behavioral modeling. s2ibis uses its own
interpretation. If a user does not know how to use SPICE correctly then s2ibis
cannot possibly correct this problem.
