Hi Roy:
The connector portion of the specification is ready for its second (and
hopefully final) editorial review and text cleanup, but we have decided to
add the hooks to enable the specification to serve as a general purpose
interconnect spec -- i.e. a package spec that supports coupling. The intent
is to do this with minimal impact to the connector portion, and are meeting
weekly to get it out as soon as we can.
I realize the spec has been a long time comming, and I hesitated to delay
it further. However, I we felt the payback -- i.e. the ability to describe
coupled package models -- was well worth the few weeks delay.

All,
My question to this thread is: What are the issues preventing moving the
IBIS connector spec forward and submitting it for approval?
Best Regards,
Roy
