Hi Sujit,
Here are the seteps that I follow:
1- Run the IBIS simulator with loading conditions of the 
intenal wave forms in the model(usually resistive).
2- Run the SPICE netlist in the same loading condition and 
compare. If passedgo to next step. If not then, either the 
I-V or V-t curves arenot correct.
3- Repeat 1 & 2 on capacitive load only and compare.
4- Repeat 1 & 2 with a transmissin line with unmatched 
load that the refelected signal will hit the driver side 
at the middle of the rise time. Compare.
P.S. Step 4 is a tough one but, it is the ultemate test. I 
got excellent corrolation before up to 3.125 GHz so, it is 
doable.
